The ApolloFLEX Mono-TL, a new solar panel manufactured in the EU, is specially designed for the marine and off-grid market. The highlight of the solar panel is the anodized aluminum back sheet which allows the panel to be mounted on a slightly curved surface such as a boat deck without sacrificing structural integrity. By using no glass in the construction, the solar panel is also capable of being walked on once it is installed. This method also has the positive side effect of making the entire solar panel lighter, up to 50% compared to conventional aluminum framed glass modules as well as being only 3 millimeters thick.
The monocrystalline solar cells are protected by an ETFE protective front sheet. The fluorine polymer has a high corrosion resistance, a wide temperature tolerance and a strong UV resistance against deterioration.
Having been designed for use in all weather environments, the ApolloFLEX Mono-TL uses high quality marine cables as well as a sealed and potted anodized aluminum junction box to protect against ingress of salt water.
The ApolloFLEX Mono-TL solar panel is available in Europe in four different power outputs - 18 Watts, 50 Watts, 100 Watts and 145 Watts
Euro-Line Solar will be showcasing the new ApolloFLEX Mono-TL solar panels at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam from November 19th-21st 2013 in Hall 11, Stand 902.
