Recently there is hardly any other industry which is growing as strong as the sector of intralogistics. A high degree of innovation and the constant need of more efficient automation processes makes this industry very competitive compared to those of low-wage countries. "The success of this sector is based on the willingness to embrace innovation, flexibility and high skilled and competent employees. MATERIAL HANDLING 21XX enables this industry to show their products permanently and gives an overview how the factory of the future might look like", as the CEO of EXPO21XX, Markus Baumgartner points out.
A few highlights from the show
In the section "Palletizing, Cartesian & Handling Robots"(http://www.expo21xx.com/...) one can discover innovative and powerful robot systems for factory automation applications. For instance the world's fastest parallel robot equipped with a four-arm system. This robot has been particularly developed for the use in packaging applications and for the solar industry. Due to its high repeatability and precision, it is ideally suited for high-speed tasks in assembly applications.
The online exhibition hall "AGVs Automated Guided Vehicles" showcases state-of-the-art unmanned automatic industrial vehicles, which autonomously navigate through factory halls giving a look out to future developments. Conventional industrial vehicles such as cranes, trucks and lifting equipment, storage and transport conveyors can also be seen in the exhibition hall, "Vehicles, Lift Trucks & Forklifts".
Modern Palletizing and transport solutions can be discovered in the hall "Conveying & Elevation Systems" (http://www.expo21xx.com/...). Due to the modular construction these ultra-modern transport systems can be flexible installed in such a way that they are able to change the direction horizontal and vertical. The results are individual automation solutions which are used in a huge variety of industries such as food processing and transportation applications. Special highlights are the high-speed sorting plants that are adapted to the specific needs of airports. These conveying systems transport your luggage quickly and accurately at a speed of 10 m /sec and minimize the speed up transfer times and the passenger flow.
