–With the market introduction of the new EYE-LCD-3150-QHD-LD monitor and its 31.5-inch screen diagonal, eyevis presents its next ultra high-resolution display with 4 x full HD resolution. This high resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels is achieved through a revised and highly compact pixel design. In comparison to a standard HD panel, the image density of the new quad full HD display (type EYE-LCD-3150-QHD-LD) is twice as high at approx. 140 ppi. The new display also proves its value through its excellent image performance: 10 bit colours and a direct LED backlight illumination ensure best image reproduction, while modern technology provides a viewing angle of 176° in all directions. This now completes the eyevis Quad HD monitor family, as a 60” and a 56” are already available.
For the display signal supply, eyevis has developed its own frame buffer board with 4 DVI-D inputs. Combined with professional high performance graphic cards it is possible to create a high resolution visual display system at a competitve price.
The new 31.5-inch LCD is primarily intended for special e-Signage applications. For example: thanks to the extremely high resolution, images from numerous security cameras can be displayed in security control rooms in full resolution in parallel on one screen. The control of complex manufacturing plants can also be presented clearly, thanks to the high resolution. This is also vital in the medical sector for imaging diagnosis. Presentation in 8.8 million pixels allows for exact interpretation of X-rays or CT scans (for example), in the same way as classic films. Further fields of application are in design and architecture were it will enable the users to view their material in its native resolution, allowing for more precise editing.
