Die Veranstaltung findet zum ersten Mal am 5. und 6. Mai 2011 in der Print Media Academy in Heidelberg statt / Der Kongress ist die Plattform für Erfahrungs- und Informationsaustausch

Für Interessenten ist es ausgesprochen schwierig, einen Überblick über Publishingsysteme zu erhalten, sie zu vergleichen, voneinander abzugrenzen oder überhaupt ihre Möglichkeiten zu erfassen. Zum einen ist die Variationsbreite von Lösungen am Markt sehr groß. Zum anderen geht der Trend eindeutig in Richtung Multifunktionalität: Eine einzige Lösung bewältigt eine Vielfalt an Aufgaben. Das Verständnis für diese ohnehin schon sehr komplexe Thematik wird zusätzlich erschwert durch die babylonisch anmutende Begriffsvielfalt im Bereich PIM, MAM und Web2Print.

Der f:mp. hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, dem Abhilfe zu schaffen. Am 5. und 6. Mai 2011 findet die "Veranstaltung zu multifunktionalen Publishing-Systemen" statt. Veranstaltungsort ist die Print Media Academy in Heidelberg.

Neben der Wissensvermittlung erhalten die Teilnehmer selbstverständlich auch den notwendigen Einblick in die Praxis. Ein entsprechendes Partnerprogramm gewährleistet eine Übersicht über die Angebotsvielfalt am Markt. Renommierte Systemhersteller wie "BrandMaker", "Stibo Systems", "ContentServ", "Six Offene Systeme", "NEO7EVEN" und "jCatalog" sowie "Picturepark", "pixelboxx", "e-pro" und "guide2media" bereichern als Partner die Veranstaltung sowohl mit Produktpräsentationen als auch mit einem breit gefächerten Spektrum an Vorträgen.
