The Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes Association (FSK) will confers the Innovation Award for Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes in January 2022. Until 31 October 2021, junior professionals and professionals have the opportunity to submit innovations from the material areas of foam plastics and polyurethanes to the specialist association.
Strong industries need strong trade associations is the motto of the FSK. The FSK Innovation Award Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes 2022 is intended to prove this once again with innovations from all areas of the foamed plastics and polyurethane industry. The Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes Association (FSK) has already extended the application deadline for the FSK Innovation Award until 31 October 2021. With this, the trade association would like to offer the industry the opportunity to specifically prepare and submit innovative ideas, solutions, products or processes related to the materials foam plastics and polyurethane. A novelty this year: for the first time, applicants have the opportunity to submit products and innovations related to materials in the category “Sustainability”.
With the call for applications for the Innovation Award, the specialist association is pursuing the goal of promoting young talent in the sector as well as furthering cooperation between young professionals and industry partners. Applications are accepted from young professionals as well as from specialists, professionals and companies. The submissions will be evaluated and awarded separately in order to ensure a fair assessment and award based on knowledge and experience. In addition to the innovative strength of the submitted products, ideas and solutions, the criteria are their marketability and competitiveness, sustainability, material-appropriate implementation and technical feasibility. The FSK has been confers the Innovation Award in the categories “Technology” and “Design and Creation” since 1998. This year, for the first time, applicants can also submit products and innovations related to materials in the category “Sustainability”. In the category for young talents, the award winners receive prize money of up to 3,000 euros, depending on their placement. This is intended to support the young applicants in successfully establishing their innovation on the market. The award ceremony will take place in a festive setting on 26 January 2022 at the International FSK Conference Foamed Plastics and Polyurethanes in Dortmund.
The specialist association is calling on all interested parties to take advantage of this opportunity and submit innovative ideas and products by 31 October 2021.
