Upgrade-Programm für ältere FileMaker-Versionen läuft aus

Am 20. Dezember 2006 enden die technische Unterstützung und vergünstigen Upgrade-Konditionen für FileMaker 6

Am 20. Dezember 2006 enden das FileMaker-Upgrade-Programm zum rabattierten Upgrade von Version 6 auf 8.5 sowie der technische Support für FileMaker Pro 6, FileMaker Developer 6 und FileMaker Server 5.5.

Bis zum 20. Dezember können bestehende FileMaker Pro 6-Kunden noch um 40 Prozent günstiger als zum Normalpreis auf FileMaker Pro 8.5 oder FileMaker Pro 8.5 Advanced upgraden. Auch Nutzer der Produkte FileMaker Server 5.5. und FileMaker Developer 6 können noch bis zu diesem Datum die günstigeren Upgrade-Versionen erwerben.

Das aktuelle Produkt FileMaker Pro 8.5 verfügt über viele hilfreiche und zeitsparende Features, die in Version 6 nicht enthalten sind, darunter zum Beispiel den FileMaker Web Viewer, das FileMaker Learning Center, erweiterte Sicherheitsfunktionen, Datenkapazität bis zu mehreren Terabytes und Unterstützung von Windows 2000 sowie Mac OS X Universal.
