At around 3.8 million hectoliters per year, Germany is one of the world's top 10 wine exporters. German wine, most of which comes from the southwest of Germany, has been a big export hit for years. To encourage the trend to continue, the German-Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce annually organizes the festival of German Wine. This event brings together producers, importers, and potential buyers. Flottweg's Polish subsidiary, Flottweg Polska Sp. z o.o., supported the German Wine Festival this year.
On April 11, 2019, about 300 people met in the Bracia Jablkowscy department store, including representatives of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the German Embassy, representatives of the various sponsors, and a large number of invited guests. The wine festival was opened by: Managing Director of AHK Poland Michael Kern, Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany Knut Abraham, this year's Wine Queen Carolin Klöckner, and Representative of the German Wine Institute in Poland, Anna Gmurczyk.
Daniel Olszewski, President of Flottweg Polska Sp. z o.o., says “With the German Wine Festival we wanted our customers to get in touch with Flottwegs’ German roots. We know now, that the great atmosphere created an even stronger bond between our customers and us. We will continue this partnership with the German Wine Festival for years to come”
Flottweg Decanters and Separators are used in various ways in wineries. Combining them can increase efficiency and cut costs in must clarification, lees processing, and wine clarification. The overall result is decisive economic and quality advantages in wine production.
