Ulrich Schmitt verlässt die Fogra

Zum 30. April 2013 beendet Ulrich Schmitt seine Tätigkeit in der Fogra. Er trat am 1. Juli 1981 in die Fogra ein. Am 15. September 1990 wurde er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Abteilung Druckvorstufe und Innovation, und am 1. Januar 2004 wurde er zum Leiter der Abteilung Qualitätssicherung der Fogra ernannt. Er bearbeitete in den über 31 Jahren seiner Zugehörigkeit zur Fogra eine große Anzahl verschiedener Forschungsthemen. Besondere Anerkennung hat sich Herr Schmitt bei der Kreation von digitalen Kontrollmitteln zur Qualitätssicherung sowie der Fogra-Feuchtungskontroll-Testform und den verschiedensten Testformen für CtP-Anlagen erworben. Herr Schmitt hat die Fogra in mehreren Gremien vertreten und war in gleicher Weise bei Verhandlungen mit Geschäftspartnern wegen seiner Kompetenz sehr geschätzt. Seine Motivation und sein umfassendes Fachwissen in Vorstufe und Druck machten Herrn Schmitt zu einem sehr wichtigen Mitarbeiter der Fogra.
