Infinite Energy: Under this new slogan, Frankensolar presented its partners and interested visitors, among other things, a number of solutions and services at Intersolar 2013 aimed at keeping the renewable energy success story going. Visitors to the fair also had an opportunity to learn about the use of flexible storage solutions and a selection of quality products.
Given its international exposure and active presence on global markets, the response to the Frankensolar Group at this year’s Intersolar fair was very good. Today, the Frankensolar Group employs over 100 people at its head office in Germany as well as its offices and agencies in North America, the United Kingdom, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Turkey and Austria: a team that has set itself the goal of providing its partners with the best-possible support.
Key issues such as energy storage, self-consumption, and intelligent energy controls – over and above the photovoltaic boundaries – were equally emphasised at Intersolar 2013 as being core elements in establishing a self-sufficient energy supply.
In addition to presenting a brand-new storage solution developed by SMA, Frankensolar also provided details of Nedap’s expanded storage portfolio.
Frankensolar furthermore answered questions concerning the topical issue of punitive duties: as the latest additions to our range, S-Energy and Hanwha Q Cells became the focal point of the question as to what solar modules are available that are not subject to punitive duties.
On top of this, Frankensolar presented a groundbreaking example of a project aimed at optimising self-consumption in the shape of the largest ground-mounted PV system currently in operation in Germany with an east/west alignment. As part of the Group’s project management activities, services are increasingly offered with and for partners to accompany complex projects.
Presentation of successful house brands
Frankensolar also used Intersolar to present items that have been added to POWERPLAN and TRIC, two of its house brands that have proved successful on the market. POWERPLAN planning software enables users not only to plan roof-integrated PV systems swiftly and professionally but also to quickly customise offers and quotations; a vital benefit for successfully acquiring new customers.
The established TRIC mounting system also met with a very positive response: at two information stands, interested visitors were given their first opportunity to learn about this joint brand from Wagner & Co and Frankensolar. Apart from the presentation at the Frankensolar stand in Hall B6, TRIC shone with a specially constructed stand in Hall B3. Haptic elements enabled trade experts visiting the stand to personally experience the benefits of the TRIC mounting system – such as how quick, easy and safe it is to install and use. The TRIC telescopic clamp was also presented for the first time. Its purpose is to provide a visually perfect border around the module panel. As a “Made in Germany” brand, users can be certain that only high-quality materials go into making TRIC, which can be intelligently integrated by virtue of its simple modular principle. That’s how TRIC is: solid.simple.smart.
Albert Engelbrecht, Managing Director of Frankensolar, about his company’s attendance at this year’s Intersolar: “In spite of the political events and tensions in recent months, Intersolar 2013 proved to be an upbeat environment. The Frankensolar Group was met with an enormously positive response from manufacturers and our partners alike – at both national and international level. The discussions and exchanges of views that took place were highly stimulating. As a result, we look forward to a successful future regarding decentralised energy supply.”
The Frankensolar Group thanks all of the visitors for their insightful conversations and positive feedback. We wish each and everyone the very best of success in implementing the energy revolution.
