Kurzbeschreibung:

»Think big!« Wenn es um Leichtbau-Anwendungen für die Automobilindustrie geht, ist diese Maxime unbedingt zutreffend. Lösungen für optimierte Werkstoffe, Ansätze für verbesserte Verarbeitungsprozesse, Ideen für neue Anwendungsfelder – all das muss nicht nur im Labor funktionieren, sondern für die Massenfertigung tauglich sein. Die besonderen Herausforderungen, die der großserienfähige Leichtbau im Automobil mit sich bringt, stehen im Mittelpunkt der diesjährigen Tagung. Abgerundet wird die Tagung durch die Besichtigung der Anlagen im PAZ  und auch die dort stattfindende Abendveranstaltung sowie durch eine Werksbesichtigung bei Porsche in Leipzig..

Hintergrund:

Die Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft bündelt ihre Leichtbaukompetenzen in der Fraunhofer-Allianz Leichtbau. Referenten kommen aus verschiedenen KMU diverser Branchen sowie aus den Instituten der Allianz Leichtbau.
