- EUROGUSS 2016: More visitors, exhibitors and space
- Sector looking ahead to the future with optimism
“This year's EUROGUSS provided a successful start to a good die-casting year in 2016. The great majority of the exhibiting foundries are satisfied with the course of the fair. A really big advantage with this event is the fact that the right target groups, both in terms of quantity and quality, come to Nuremberg”, said Gerd Röders, Chairman of the Verband Deutscher Druckgießereien (VDD, Association of German Pressure Die-casters). And Dr. Timo Würz, General Secretary CEMAFON, The European Foundry Equipment Suppliers Association, summed up the event: “Our member companies’ stands were very well frequented. The machine manufacturers are more than satisfied with their participation at this year's trade fair. This is a good indication of maintaining the good results achieved in 2015 once again in 2016.” Heike Slotta, Director Exhibitions, NürnbergMesse, is also delighted: “The mood in the exhibition halls was really good. Hall six, which was occupied for the first time this year, was immediately well received by exhibitors and visitors alike. Once again, it has been confirmed: Nuremberg is home to the die-casting sector.”
