FRT, expert in 3D surface metrology, had applied with the comprehensive relaunch concept "FRT RelaunchYear", which included a re-design and the re-conception of the website, logo and exhibition booth. As part of the expanded online marketing strategy, special hashtags, a corporate blog and a mascot were introduced. The jury especially praised the extensive marketing activities and the target group relevance of the concept as well as the integration into the general strategy of the medium-sized company.
Nine international high-tech companies competed for the prize with their marketing concepts. This year, the jury nominated four finalists. In addition to FRT GmbH and SmartMembranes GmbH, eagleyard Photonics GmbH from Berlin and Turck duotec GmbH from Halver were among the nominated finalists for the 10th IVAM Marketingpreis.
The jury of experts, consisting of microtechnology and marketing experts, evaluated creativity, innovation, aesthetics, strategic and technical approach, information content, actuality, originality and target group orientation. Jury members this year were Simone Herrmann from TechnologieZentrumDortmund, Claudia Pejas from Impulswerk Videoagentur, Markus Rall from viality e.K, Markus Thamm from Salcon International and Dr. Ernst-Rudolf Weidlich from GRT GmbH & Co.KG.
The award ceremony took place on April 19th, 2018, following the IVAM High-Tech Summit conference and the general meeting of the IVAM Microtechnology Association in Dortmund.
