In his new position, Dierks will further expand the internationalization of the company, which has already established itself as a market leader in process-based digitalization solutions in Europe, and significantly accelerate customer growth. Gregor Greinke, founder and CEO of GBTEC, says: "With Michael Dierks, we were able to win a leading manager of the German software industry for our brand and bring him into our team. His many years of management and integration experience will help us set the necessary course for further growth and integrate our subsidiaries into the strategy and philosophy of the GBTEC Group.”
Dierks is looking forward to new tasks in familiar surroundings: "GBTEC's headquarter, Bochum, is not only my home, but also home to my alma mater. When Gregor Greinke asked me to bring in my knowledge in the BPM environment as an executive, I was immediately enthusiastic. Not only out of regional affinity, but primarily because of the exciting tasks in one of the most dynamic companies in the German SME sector, I am looking forward to my new position as a board member at GBTEC."
Dierks holds a degree in economics from the Ruhr University Bochum. His professional career is characterized by many years of management experience at software companies with a focus on business process management. After more than 10 years in a leading position at IDS Scheer AG, he helped shape the international development of the Software AG's consulting division in various executive positions.
