GCT GmbH, the global leaders in diamond coated micro-tools has developed a special drill for the applications in 5G base material.

The solid carbide tool type 1639 shows convincing results in 5G applications with high drilling quality and process capability and much longer tool-life. These enable economical machining of difficult base material with reasonable cost and time savings and lead to higher productivity.

Numerous applications in electronics and ceramics pending for processing are possible now with all the advantages of diamond-coated tools.
