GEZE system solutions combine individual safety demands for doors and windows in coordinated systems. An important component of the GEZE SecuLogic escape and emergency exit systems (RWS) that serves to electrically lock emergency doors is the escape door lock FTV 320. In combination with the GEZE TZ 300 and TZ 320 door control units, with the FTV 320 emergency exit routes are optimally secured against unauthorised entry. Thanks to its high holding force and secure unlocking under sideload, the new component is also a reliable locking element for all security applications, e.g. double door systems like the GEZE security interlocking door system that must ensure safe passage in the event of a power failure.
The new three-latch design of the FTV 320 provides a strong hold of over 5,000 N. With secure release under high sideloads to the door it enables reliable opening of the door even when fleeing people press against the door in a panic situation.
A large number of application options, for instance horizontal or vertical installation or integration in the frame or door leaves, makes the new emergency locking system an all-around talent. With just a few variations an optimum solution can be realised for any installation situation. The FTV 320 is indispensable on double-leaf full panic doors that have to be secured against unauthorised entry because it can be installed in the active leaf and no "space problems" with the shoot bolt in the fixed leaf can arise.
