Printcom in Wien - eine der größten Druckereien der Walzerstadt - ist besonders bedacht auf die sinnvolle und schonende Verwendung der Ressourcen. Daher hat das Unternehmen nun von Öl auf Pellets umgestellt. Die HPKI-K Anlage mit 900kW wurde mit 2 Containern angeliefert. Auf einer Fläche von weniger als 3 Parkplätzen stehen die beiden GILLES-Boxen übereinander. Oben das Pelletslager, darunter die Powerbox mit der Pelletskessel und Steuerungstechnik. Die umweltbewusste Druckerei erwartet sich durch die Umstellung von Heizöl auf Biomasse einen satten Rückgang der Heizkosten und vor allem eine große Reduktion des klimaschädigenden CO2. Stolze 2.150.000 Kilogramm Kohlendioxid werden der Umwelt nun Jahr für Jahr erspart.
Neben dieser Containeranlage setzt GILLES zurzeit auch die größte Pelletsanlage in Deutschland, in Remscheid um. Die Heizanlage GILLES HPKI-k 2000 hat 2000kW und wird 60 000 m², Wohn- und Gewerbefläche beheizen.
