Am 17. November 2014 findet in Wien der 1. Österreichische BIM Kongress statt. Die ganztägige Vortragsveranstaltung mit begleitender Fachausstellung informiert umfassend über Methode, Anwendung und Mehrwert von Building Information Modeling. Dabei richtet sich das Programm, organisiert von der GRAPHISOFT Deutschland GmbH, ganz gezielt an die unterschiedlichen Akteure im Bauwesen: an Architekten und Fachplaner, Bauunternehmen und Generalplaner sowie an Bauherren und Behörden. Während der Vormittag übergreifenden Themen im Plenum vorbehalten ist, werden in den Breakout Sessions am Nachmittag neue Perspektiven, veränderte Aufgaben und Rollen, die sich für die unterschiedlichen Zielgruppen ergeben, ausgelotet.

Zu den international hochkarätigen Referenten und BIM-Spezialisten der Veranstaltung gehören u.a. Jakob Andreassen, BIM Manager der Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), Tomohiko Yamanashi, Executive Officer bei NIKKEN SEKKEI, einem der größten Bauunternehmen der Welt oder Prof. Christoph M. Achammer, Abteilungsleiter für interdisziplinäre Bauplanung an der TU Wien.
