Green Energy 3000 won several innovation tenders in Germany and France. As a result, a first power purchase agreement (PPA) for a hybrid power plant in Germany was concluded in December 2021. In parallel, a PPA was signed with the Ministry of Energy and the energy supplier of the West African island state of Sao Tomé & Principé.
Simultaneously with the conclusion of the first PPA in Germany, the company signed the financing agreement for the first solar park with battery storage. The construction of this park with a capacity of 5.1 MWp has already been largely completed. Green Energy 3000 is currently planning further hybrid power plants with photovoltaic systems and battery storage in Germany and France.
In December 2021, the sister company Green Asset 3000 GmbH successfully concluded the financing of its first wind farm in France. Construction work has already begun on the 12 MW Attigny wind farm in the Champagne-Ardennes region. Four Nordex N117 turbines will be installed.
For future activities in the regions of Africa and Asia, the company subsidiary Green Energy 3000 Project Management LLC, based in Dubai, has commenced operations. In the future, the company will also take on tasks in the area of operational management.
Extension of company portfolio
The Green Energy 3000 Group's own portfolio of projects has grown to 9 MW in 2021. The owner of the associated project companies is Green Asset 3000 GmbH. Upcoming projects will increase the portfolio by at least another 30 MW next year.
Operational management
Green Asset 3000 GmbH has increased its portfolio by 4 projects with a total capacity of 26 MW in 2021. New additions include the management of another wind farm in France and 3 solar farms in Germany and France. In total, the operating company now manages 10 projects with a total output of 53 MW.
Outlook for 2022
For 2022, Green Energy 3000 GmbH plans a significant increase in projects in Germany and France. In addition, the international presence will be further expanded. Construction starts for projects with a total output of almost 77 MW are being planned. This includes three further innovation projects with battery storage.
Projects with a volume of 82 MW are currently in the building application process. The planning department at Green Energy 3000 is preparing applications for a further 100 MW for the coming year. Nearly 625 MW are currently under medium-term development in Germany, France, the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan. The project development department is partly working with local cooperation partners.
In Sao Tomé & Principé, West Africa, the Green Energy 3000 Group is planning to build a solar park with battery storage. This new project will be financed and operated in-house. The capacity of the solar park will be approximately 15 MWp. The battery storage will cover a capacity of 3 MW.
Green Asset 3000 GmbH expects an additional volume of approximately 50 MW for the operational management. "This doubles the capacity of the managed plants," says the head of commercial operations management, Felix Renker.
Supported by the global demand for renewable energies and the policies of the new German government, Green Energy 3000 Group is seeing a clear trend towards more and larger projects. "To cope with these tasks, we will create more jobs in the field of renewable energies in all company divisions," Andreas Renker, managing director of the group of companies, holds out the prospect. The continuous growth of the group of companies is thus continuing.
