Definition Content-Marketing
Content-Marketing ist eine klassische Form des Inbound Marketings, einer alternativen Marketing-Methode, die es nicht erst seit dem Internet gibt. Generell basiert die Methode darauf, vom Kunden gefunden zu werden, was im Gegensatz zum häufiger praktizierten Outbound-Marketing steht, bei dem Botschaften in sachlicher oder werblicher Form an Zielgruppen/-personen gesendet werden. Inbound-Marketing versucht also dort in Erscheinung zu treten, wo sich Kunden bzw. potentielle Kunden aufhalten. Ziel ist die Bereitstellung von nutzwertigen Informationen (Content), mit denen auch komplexe Themen vermittelt und mögliche Käufer besser informiert werden. Mit Content Marketing können Marketingverantwortliche Interessenten und Kunden in jeder Phase des Kaufzyklus, von der Produkt-/Markenwahrnehmung über die Kaufabsicht und Konversion bis zum Kundendienst, mit relevanten und wertvollen Informationen bedienen. Content Marketing steigert die Markenwahrnehmung, schafft Vertrauen und dient der Empfehlung von Produkten und Dienstleistungen sowie dem Dialog mit bestehenden und künftigen Kunden.
