Im November waren Aktienindexderivate mit 73,2 Mio. Kontrakten das umsatzstärkste Einzelsegment, im Vergleich zum Vorjahr legten sie um 57 Prozent zu (Nov. 2006: 46,6 Mio.). Auf den Index-Future Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50® entfielen rund 30 Mio. Kontrakte; dicht gefolgt von der Option auf diesen Index, die mit 27,7 Mio. Kontrakten ihr zweitbestes Monatsergebnis erreichte. Auch die DAX® Option erzielte ihr zweitbestes Monatsergebnis mit 8,8 Mio. Kontrakten.
Aktienderivate (Aktienoptionen und Single Stock Futures) legten um 47 Prozent auf 34,6 Mio. Kontrakte zu (Nov. 2006: 23,5 Mio.). Single Stock Futures zeigten mit 59 Prozent ein überdurchschnittliches Wachstum im Vergleich zum Oktober 2007 und erreichten 3,5 Mio. Kontrakte.
Im Segment Fixed-Income-Derivate wurden im November insgesamt 64 Mio.Kontrakte umgesetzt nach 59,5 Mio. im Vorjahresmonat. Auf den Euro-Bund-Future entfielen etwa 27,8 Mio. Kontrakte (+4 Prozent im Jahresvergleich). Das Handelsvolumen des Euro-Bobl-Future lag im November bei 14,3 Millionen Kontrakten (+11 Prozent im Jahresvergleich), das des Euro-Schatz-Future bei 15,5 Millionen (+17 Prozent im Jahresvergleich).
Eurex Repo, die den CHF- und den EUR-Repo-Markt betreibt, verzeichnete in ihrem Geldmarktsegment Euro GC Pooling erneut einen Tagesrekord: Am 6.November lag das ausstehende Volumen bei 26,6 Mrd. Euro. Im Monatsdurchschnitt lag der Wert bei 21 Mrd. Euro und damit 81 Prozent höher als im November 2006 mit 11,6 Mrd. Euro. Insgesamt behaupteten die Eurex Repo-Märkte in einem schwierigen Marktumfeld ihre Marktvolumen und erreichten zusammengenommen im November ein durchschnittlich ausstehendes Volumen von 93,3 Mrd. Euro.
Auf der elektronischen Handelsplattform Eurex Bonds, die das Angebot von Eurex im Bereich Fixed Income komplettiert, wurde im November ein Volumen von rund 10,2 Mrd. Euro (Einfachzählung) gehandelt nach 11,5 Mrd. Euro im Oktober 2007.
