The conference, themed ‘Be Different’, provided a great platform to share plans and developments, knowledge and ideas. It also gave partners the time to deepen their connections both on a business and personal level. We see this as one of the keys to our success. Our global partners really do know each other.
It was a well thought out, compelling agenda which was packed with informative sessions, sector break out groups, business development, external speakers, marketing and branding – and seeing as though we were in Denmark, the home of Lego it was fitting that Day 1 started with us all getting creative with the little bricks.
The partners were engaged throughout the conference and there was plenty for them to take away.
Priding ourselves on our Multi-Country Search capability, we made sure partners had enough time to work together on developing their global business strategies, share international clients and find new ways to enhance their global offerings. Always having in mind how to best service their clients and candidates.
The speakers were riveting – Michael Crouse from the US sharing his expertise on sourcing strategies from the Digital Age; Michele Attias, business coach and speaker, on mindset and leading with a difference. And Pernille Mehl, CEO of Danske Spil A/S discussed the journey to becoming a digital organization, and the importance of innovation along with good customer experience.
Whilst the overall theme was ‘Be Different’, one thing at Horton International remains very much the same – The group are all moving in the same direction, working towards the same goal and sharing the same passion to collaborate within our global teams. Our aim remains constant in always doing the very best for our clients and candidates and together we work to help them achieve their goals.
The evening events were excellent and provided a great opportunity for partners to relax, enjoy and connect whilst feasting on Danish cuisine, exploring the delights of Copenhagen and cruising along the canals.
Partner of Horton International in Denmark, Jens C Anderson told us:
"In a world of social media, it is more important than ever to meet colleagues and friends face to face – nothing can replace these moments. It brings a mutual combination of knowledge and understanding to each one of us.
Meetings like the one in Copenhagen are important – it makes sense because everyone has the privilege to speak up, and the benefit of listening to new ideas."
The conference was wrapped up by chairman, Andreas Wartenberg who shared:
"It was a pleasure and honour to chair this event. Horton International are moving in an exciting direction and there was a real buzz within the group as we discussed our upcoming plans.
Despite a new direction, the focus for us as a group remains the same - The success of our clients and candidates is always our top priority and together we will help them reach the top."
