Die sichere elektrische Energieversorgung ist ein wesentlicher Standortfaktor im Wettbewerb um Arbeitsplätze und Firmenstandorte. Hochspannungs-Schaltanlagen als Knotenpunkte der Übertragungs- und Verteilungsnetze sind von großer Bedeutung für die Zuverlässigkeit der elektrischen Energieversorgung. In den letzten Jahren haben Veränderungen am Energiemarkt zu einem steigenden Wissenbedarf im Bereich der Hochspannungsschaltanlagen geführt. Die Stichworte lauten Einbindung der Offshore Windenergieleistung, stark steigender Stromhandel in Europa und die Elektrifizierung in Asien. Die Planung neuer Anlage sowie die Instandhaltung der Altanlagen sind dabei die wichtigsten Themen. Der Kostendruck bei den Übertragungsneztbetreibern ist hoch. Um so wichtiger ist eine detaillierte Analyse des Ist-Zustandes der Schaltanlagen und eine Abschätzung der Restlebensdauer ihrer Betriebsmittel.

Die Tagung "Hochspannungs - Schaltanlagen" am 6.11. - 7.11.2013 in Bamberg bietet einen Überblick über den Stand der Technik sowie über derzeitige Entwicklungen bei Hochspannungs-Schaltanlagen. Die seit vielen Jahren durchgeführte Tagung hat sich zu einem Treffpunkt der Branche entwickelt. Als Veranstaltungsort wurde Bamberg gewählt, zentral gelegen und gut erreichbar.
