Wenn es im Auto pfeift und piept kann das schnell unangenehmen sein. Hersteller verwenden viel Zeit und Geld, um den richtigen Sound zu erzielen. Komfort steht gerade bei hochwertigen Fahrzeugen ganz oben. Der Startpunkt der Betrachtung ist immer der Elektromotor selbst und dann das System samt Frequenzumrichter. Vibrationen und Geräusche von elektrischen Antrieben spielen also eine immer wichtigere Rolle gerade auch bei der fortschreitenden Elektrifizierung von Fahrzeugen. Immer höhere Leistungsdichten führen zu immer stärkeren elektromagnetischen Anregungen, die gleichzeitig auf vibrationsanfälligere Strukturen durch Leichtbaumaßnahmen treffen. In der Ingenieursausbildung wird dieses interdisziplinäre Thema (Elektrotechnik und Schwingungstechnik) in der Regel noch nicht ausreichend behandelt.

In dem Seminar "Vibrationen und Geräusche von Elektroantrieben" am 9. und 10.10.2013 in Essen vermittelt Herr Dr. Kasper von der Robert Bosch GmbH die Grundlagen der Vibrations- und Geräuschentwicklung von elektrischen Antrieben. Anhand von Beispielen werden das charakteristische Verhalten von verschiedenen E-Maschinen-Typen, Vermessungs- und Simulationstechniken sowie Maßnahmen zur akustischen Optimierung erläutert. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist begrenzt.
