Die stark wachsende dezentrale Stromerzeugung über Wind- und Photovoltaikanlagen sowie andere regenerative Energiequellen lässt auch den Bedarf nach sicheren, umweltschonenden und im Vergleich zu Überlandleitungen weitgehend akzeptierten Stromtrassen ansteigen. Dieser Trend wird durch die Notwendigkeit verstärkt, älterer Kabel auszutauschen.

Das Seminar "Innovative Lösungen bei Land- und Seekabeln" bietet die Möglichkeit, das Thema Erdverkabelungen praxisnah zu erfahren und das eigene Wissen auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen. Das Spektrum umfasst Kabelbauarten und Normen, Auslegung und Betrieb von Kabeltrassen, Garnituren für Hoch- und Höchstspannungskabel, EMV-Maßnahmen bei Drehstromkabeln, sowie verschiedene Verlegungstechniken von der grabenlosen Verlegung bis zur Verwendung eines Spezialpfluges.
