The PALLETIZER SERIES 1800 seamlessly fits into the product flow and provides for fully automatic palletizing operation. Depending on customer wishes, the product flow after packing is led through several stations such as check-weighers, metal detectors and bag rejecters. Bag rejection separates overweight and underweight bags, and those containing metal and thus ensures optimum goods.
At this point the customer has the possibility of directly loading the checked bags or sending them to a palletizing system that produces a package unit suitable for transport and storage. Here the bags are sent through a pressing belt that removes excess air and optimally prepares the bag for the palletizing process. Next a turning clamp brings the bag to the desired position to form an optimum layer pattern. Air-removal rollers press out the last remaining excess air and compact the product to allow perfect palletizing.
Four low-maintenance drive-pushers form the layers into a unit and centre it during the transfer to a pallet positioned underneath. The empty pallet is first automatically taken from a magazine by a pallet dispenser. The palletized layer is conveyed onto the pallet by a transfer plate and then compacted to provide yet more stability.
In addition to the basic palletizing function, customers have multiple options at their disposal to suit their individual needs. For example fully automatic slip-sheets can be applied to the pallets or to each layer to provide additional stability. Weather-protective and stability-enhancing films can be wrapped and shrunk around the pallets in a subsequent process. Next the pallets are conveyed to a dispatching location where they either can be taken manually or fully automatically by a high-performance HAVER SpeedFlexx® direct truck loader.
Control of the palletizer is done by an HMI (Human Machine Interface) which allows the operator to run the machine intuitively. It enables the operator to undertake a product change with just a few settings, or to switch over to a maintenance mode. A VPN connection for remote maintenance assures continuous support by the specialists of HAVER & BOECKER and NEWTEC BAG PALLETIZING, and thus results in a reduction of maintenance time and leads to cost savings for the customers.
