“In the decision-making process for the strategic step of selling the extrusion mudguard division, it was clear to us that we would only sell to someone who has great expertise in this area, thus ensuring a functioning transition for our customers”, says Anthonie de Jong (COO). “With Eurofender we have found a partner who not only knows the product but also the manufacturing process very well and for a long time. The meetings were very cooperative and uncomplicated right from the start, so that a smooth takeover can be guaranteed.” The relocation of the machinery took place in week 46.
Eurofender was established in 2009 by the actual CEO and owner Alberto Silvestri and produces extruded mudguards all made in Italy by a very specialized team with extensive experience.
“Eurofender is very pleased with the acquisition of all the Rainline assets of tubus because it is a great opportunity to increase our capacity, improve quality, decrease delivery time and expand our product range to become one of the most important players in Europe”, says Alberto Silvestri (CEO).
The expansion of the machinery lines gives a greater flexibility in the production process and the addition of the Rainline productrange accessories offers almost endless possibilities and options
to create a custom-made mudguard for every kind of bicycles.
“Sometimes the mudguard is considered only a component on a bicycle, for us it is a continuous search for the optimal combination of quality, functionality and design.“
From the beginning of next year the actual customers of tubus will be supplied by Eurofender.
