Wer den Empfehlungen der Druckerhersteller folgt, zahlt beim Kauf von Tinte und Papier doppelt drauf, was er bei der Anschaffung eines preisgünstigen Druckers gespart hat. Um dem Preisdiktat zu entgehen, kann man für Canon- und Epson-Drucker billigere Tintenpatronen von Alternativanbietern verwenden. Bei HP- oder Lexmark-Druckern ist es möglich, leere Originalpatronen nachzufüllen.
Kam es bei früheren Tests mit Fremdtinte noch zu verstopften Druckdüsen und Totalausfällen, konnten die alternativen Produkte jetzt durchgängig überzeugen. "Die Qualität der gedruckten Texte, Grafiken und Fotos ist ganz erstaunlich", hat c't-Redakteur Tim Gerber festgestellt. "Bei Epson reicht sie sogar über das Original heraus."
Auch beim Fotopapier gibt es keinen Grund mehr, über 60 Cent für einen A4-Bogen zu zahlen. Anbieter wie Pearl oder Geha zeigen, dass man Fotopapiere für den Tintendruck auch deutlich billiger anbieten kann.
Insgesamt hat der c't-Test gezeigt, dass man nicht auf die teuren Produkte der Druckerhersteller festgenagelt ist. Es kommt nur auf die richtige Kombination von Tinte und Papier an. Verbrauchsmaterialen von anderen Anbietern zu kaufen, lohnt sich also - damit lässt sich sogar im Vergleich zum günstigsten Foto-Printservice noch Geld sparen. (tig)
