With the latest version of the HellermannTyton Autotool 2000 CPK, vehicle engineers can now achieve the highest degree of process reliability in automatic cable tying to date. The extended software of the electrically operated tool enables comprehensive manufacturing data acquisition.
Recorded data can be read out via a USB port on the power supply and used to monitor process reliability on a PC. This ensures traceability of tensile forces for specific bindings along the cable harness at all times.
Autotool 2000 CPK offers high-quality bundling up to 20 mm diameter and can process bandoleers of 50 cable ties as well as tape reels with 3500 cable ties.
The detachable handle and serial interface ensure easy and space-saving integration into fully automated production lines.
HellermannTyton will be showing a robot-assisted application to visitors of this year's International Suppliers Fair (IZB) from 16 to 18 October in Wolfsburg, Germany, Hall 1 / 1217.
In addition, visitors to the stand can explore the cable management expert’s bundling and fastening elements in vehicles with the aid of virtual reality.
