The biggest players in the polyurethane industry from across the world got together at UTECH Europe from 29th to 31st May 2018. The trade fair which took place in the MECC in Maastricht at the border triangle between the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium has now established itself as the leading international fair and conference for the polyurethane industry.
"Hennecke was very successful at UTECH Europe 2018", says Patrick Brüninghaus, Head of Sales Metering Machines at Hennecke. "Visitor numbers were paricularly high. In addition to the quantitative aspects, I was particularly impressed by the quality of the discussions. Most of the trade fair visitors came to talk to us about specific projects that they are currently working on. This is the best trade fair in Europe which attracts the right companies and people. The location of the trade fair is excellent as it is easily accessible for everyone."
Dr. Miodrag Konstantinovic, Head of Sales Slabstock also expressed his enthusiasm for the event: "Most of the slabstock world was there. Intensive, technical discussions were held. The trade fair is one of the best platforms for speaking to customers and partners".
Hennecke's prescence focused on high-quality insulation for hot water storage tanks. The PU specialist demonstrated its highly efficient foaming process which provides perfect insulation for hot water tanks without thermal bridges. The air conditioning specialists Daikin Europe from Oostende in Belgium use Hennecke's innovative horizontal carriage mould carriers to produce highly modern hot water storage tanks in the Altherma series. Thanks to a vertically adjustable lower mould, Daikin can manufacture all product types with one mould carrier.
A congress took place alongside the trade fair with over 80 detailed technical talks in twelve sessions presenting the latest developments in the polyurethane world and providing unique insights into the global market. At the three day congress, Hennecke specialists gave a presentation entitled "The new COLOURLINE with MULTI-CONNECT technology" to inform visitors about the quick and easy colour changes in the surface finishing process of decorative and functional elements.
Based on 70 years of experience, as well as a large annual budget for research and development, the Hennecke Group, which has its registered office in Sankt Augustin (Germany), produces high-quality machines, plants and systems for all core technologies for the processing of polyurethane (PU).
