This year we are proud to present our new W-166 3 Stage Marine Compressors. These compressors offer the power of traditional proven piston technology but with further major refinements in order to secure even greater efficiency and a higher level of performance. Not only can Wave Series compressors be used for ship engine starts but they can also be developed for the opening of hydro dam gates and for altering the blade pitch on turbines - and more.
All components of W-166 products are developed with lower energy costs in mind. The strongest member of the Wave Series produces 200 m3 of air in a minute with 31kw at 40 bar. Lower energy costs with higher performance are a result of the highly trained and experienced engineers working for Hertz-Kompressoren.
The Wave Series is not just providing efficient solutions for your ship, it also provides user friendly working conditions compared to the other applications in the market. As a result of using axial wheels in particular, environmental noise decreases to 83 dB. Additionally, the electronic control unit is a standard feature of the Wave Series; all working parameters such as outlet temperature and pressure, oil pressure, service and electric parameters can be controlled and monitored by the controller panel.
The Models in the new Wave Series are intended to cover the 16 and 31 kW performance classes and produce 110.0 - 200.7 m3/min compressed air at 40 bar.
