HP und Amdocs haben in einem aktuellen Test die Interoperabilität der existierenden Billing-Systeme von Telekommunikationsanbietern mit den neuen IMS-Netzen (Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem) nachgewiesen. Für Service Provider im Telco-Umfeld bedeutet dies, dass sie nun schneller auf IMS-Umgebungen migrieren und dadurch mit neuen Sprach-, Daten- und Multimedia-Diensten höhere Umsätze erzielen können.
