Die Hochschule Bremen lädt im Rahmen der Ringvorlesung Shanghai am Dienstag, dem 25. Mai, um 18:30 Uhr, zu einem öffentlichen Vortrag von Dr. Renate Krieg (Berlin) ein. Thema: "Altern in Shanghai". Ort: Hochschule Bremen, Werderstraße 73, A-Gebäude, Raum A 201.

Wie wirken sich Chinas sozialer und demographischer Wandel auf das Leben der älteren Bevölkerung der chinesischen Metropole aus? Welche Vorkehrungen treffen Staat und Gesellschaft? Welche Rolle spielen ältere Menschen in der chinesischen Familie und wie wichtig ist diese für sie?

Die Sinologin Renate Krieg hat selbst viele Jahre in Shanghai gelebt und sich seit langem wissenschaftlich und publizistisch mit diesem Thema auseinandergesetzt.
