„Architektur und Baugeschichte“ ist das Lehrgebiet benannt, das Dr. Claudia Kromrei seit 1. Dezember 2015 als Professorin der Hochschule Bremen, Fakultät Architektur, Bau, und Umwelt, vertritt. Zuvor arbeitete sie an der Technischen Universität (TU) Berlin und der Hochschule Potsdam. Ferner war die 46-Jährige für kurze Zeit an der China Academy of Art im Rahmen einer Kooperation mit der Berliner Universität der Künste tätig. Außerdem ist sie die Vorsitzende des Deutschen Werkbundes Berlin e.V. Nach dem Studium an der TU Berlin und der Eidgenössischen Technischen Hochschule Zürich promovierte Claudia Kromrei in Architekturtheorie an der TU Berlin.
