Dr.-Ing. Mirco Meiners seit 1. April 2013 Professur in der Fakultät Elektrotechnik und Informatik

Mit Prof. Dr.-Ing. Mirco Meiners erhält die Fakultät Elektrotechnik und Informatik weitere personelle Verstärkung. Er folgte zum Sommersemester 2013 dem Ruf an die Hochschule Bremen. Dort vertritt er das Lehrgebiet Analog Mixed-Signal IC Design, den Entwurf integrierter Schaltungen. Vorher war er bei der Robert Bosch GmbH, Geschäftsbereich Automotive Electronics, in Reutlingen im Bereich IC Design für Inertialsensoren tätig. Seine wissenschaftliche Qualifikation erwarb Mirco Meiners an der TU Hamburg-Harburg, Fachrichtung Mikrosystemtechnik (Dipl.-Ing.), und an der Universität Bremen mit der Promotion, gleichfalls in der Fachrichtung Mikrosystemtechnik.

Der 38-Jährige ist verheiratet und ist Vater eines Sohnes. In seiner Freizeit sorgen Fitness-Training, Radfahren und Nordic-Walking für den Ausgleich. Außerdem musiziert er gern mit Synthesizer und Stage-Piano.
