Journalistik-Professorin Dr. Beatrice Dernbach zur DGPuK-Fachgruppensprecherin gewählt

Die Mitglieder der Fachgruppe Journalistik und Journalismusforschung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Publizistik und Kommunikationswissenschaft (DGPuK) haben Prof. Dr. Beatrice Dernbach (Internationaler Studiengang Fachjournalistik) zur Sprecherin gewählt. PD Dr. Wiebke Loosen, Referentin beim Hans-Bredow-Institut in Hamburg, ist ihre Stellvertreterin. Damit leitet erstmalig eine FH-Professorin eine Fachgruppe der 1963 gegründeten wissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft.

Ebenfalls eine Premiere ist, dass es eine weibliche Doppelspitze gibt. Als zentrale Aufgaben hat sich das Führungsduo die Nachwuchsarbeit sowie das Thema Lehre und Didaktik vorgenommen. Darüber hinaus werden die jährlichen Fachgruppentagungen organisiert: Die nächste wird Anfang Februar 2011 gemeinsam mit der DGPuK-Fachgruppe 'Mediensprache/ Mediendiskurse' an der Universität Tübingen zum Thema "Medienrealitäten" durchgeführt.
