Wie finde ich für mein Thema einen geeigneten Experten? Wie prüfe ich die Glaubwürdigkeit von Internet-Seiten? Und wie strukturiere ich die Online-Recherche, um mich nicht in der Fülle der Treffer zu verlieren? Diese Fragen stehen im Mittelpunkt dieses Kompaktkurses. Neben der Internet-Recherche werden auch klassische Wege wie die Telefonrecherche und das Auskunftsrecht gegenüber Behörden behandelt.

Die Kompaktkurse Wissenschaftskommunikation werden von der Hochschule Bremen durchgeführt, die bereits seit 2005 Studierende in den erfolgreich akkreditierten, berufsbegleitenden Masterstudiengang Wissenschaftskommunikation aufnimmt. Sie schaffen ein ergänzendes Angebot für interessierte JournalistInnen, PR-ExpertInnen und WissenschaftlerInnen, die sich gezielt und kompakt zu einzelnen Themen (weiter-)qualifizieren möchten. Im Gegensatz zum Masterstudiengang gelten für die Kompaktkurse Wissenschaftskommunikation keine speziellen Zulassungsvoraussetzungen. Jeder Kurs ist als eine eigenständige Lerneinheit konzipiert und schließt mit einem Teilnahmezertifikat ab.
