Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute erhält weitere CPSCAkkreditierungen

Überprüfung der Entflammbarkeit von Kinderschlafanzügen und Bekleidungstextilien

Zusätzlich zu den bereits bestehenden Akkreditierungen für die Ermittlung des Bleigehalts in Spielzeug, textilen Artikeln sowie metallischen und nichtmetallischen Produkten für Kinder bis 12 Jahren wurde das Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute mit Wirkung zum 5. Mai 2011 von der amerikanischen Kommission für die Sicherheit von Verbraucherprodukten (Consumer Product Safety Commission - CPSC) nun auch für die Überprüfung der Entflammbarkeit von Kinderschlafanzügen und Bekleidungstextilien akkreditiert.

Als unabhängiges Testlabor mit der CPSC-Identifikationsnummer 1060 ist das Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute damit berechtigt, folgende Einzelprüfungen zur Einhaltung der von der CPSC geforderten Vorgaben für in die USA eingeführte Produkte durchzuführen:

- Blei-Gesamtgehalt in Spielzeug und textilen Erzeugnissen für Kinder bis 12 Jahre,
Richtlinie 16 CFR, Teil 1303

- Blei-Gesamtgehalt in metallischen Produkten für Kinder (inklusive Metallschmuck),
Richtlinie CPSC-CH-E1001-08 und/oder CPSC-CH-E1001-08.1

- Blei-Gesamtgehalt in nicht-metallischen Produkten für Kinder,
Richtlinie CPSC-CH-E1002-08 und/oder CPSC-CH-E1002-08.1

- Blei-Gesamtgehalt in Lacken und anderen ähnlichen Oberflächenbeschichtungen,
Richtlinie CPSC-CH-E1003-09 und/oder CPSC-CH-E1003-09.1

- Entflammbarkeit von Kinderschlafanzügen,
Richtlinien 16 CFR, Teile 1615 und 1616, Größen 0 bis 6X (FF 3-71) und Größen 7 bis 14 (FF 5-74)

- Entflammbarkeit von Bekleidungstextilien,
Richtlinie 16 CFR, Teil 1610
