Nozomu Yamashiro ist neuer Präsident von Honda Deutschland. Der 41-Jährige trat zum 1. März die Nachfolge von Yoshiaki Ikehata an, der in Zukunft bei Honda in Japan tätig sein wird.

Nach Abschluss seines Wirtschaftsstudiums an der Kwansei Gakuin University begann Yamashiro 2002 im Bereich Regional Operations (Asien und Ozeanien) seine Karriere bei Honda. Es folgten internationale Stationen in Thailand, in der Honda Europazentrale in Großbritannien und in Deutschland, wo Yamashiro seit 2017 tätig ist.
