Infraserv Höchst Migration von SAP CPS by Redwood zu BatchMan

Ablösung von SAP CPS by Redwood (Central Process Scheduling)

Infraserv Höchst, Standortbetreiber des Industriepark Höchst in Frankfurt am Main, hatte die kostenfreie Version SAP CPS by Redwood (Central Process Scheduling) im Einsatz, um seine Hintergrundprozesse zu automatisieren. Der Support für Redwood CPS  wurde allerdings 2020 abgekündigt und auch BPA läuft 2024 aus. Der Wechsel von SAP CPS by Redwood zu BatchMan ermöglichte Infraserv Höchst 40% Reduktion von manuellen Tätigkeiten. 

Wichtige Kriterien für die Kaufentscheidung bei Infraserv waren der Preis, die Integration in SAP, eine On-Premise-Lösung sowie eine einfache Systemwartung.

Vorzüge gegenüber dem Vorgänger

Mit der Migration auf BatchMan kann Infraserv Höchst nun Daten systemübergreifend verknüpfen. Zudem können komplexe Abläufe (Jobnetze) grafisch dargestellt und direkt bearbeitet werden. Es findet eine Prüfung der Daten vor der Einplanung in BatchMan statt.

Der heutige Arbeitsaufwand beschränkt sich im Wesentlichen auf die Wartung der Daten (Neueinplanung, Änderung oder Löschung) und das tägliche Monitoring der Läufe, wobei bei kritischen Daten-Fehlern automatisiert Tickets im Ticketsystem eröffnet werden. Im Vergleich zum Vorgängerprodukt Redwood CPS spart Infraserv Höchst 40% Arbeitszeit ein.
