KAI-Gruppe empfiehlt ihren Kommunen Umstieg auf VOIS

Einführung des neuen Einwohnermeldeverfahrens ab Herbst

Der zentrale Arbeitskreis Einwohnermeldewesen der KAI-Gruppe hat den 40 Mitgliedskommunen der Kommunalen Anwendergemeinschaft für Informations- und Kommunikationstechniken (KAI-Gruppe) empfohlen, das KAI-eigene Einwohnermeldeverfahren KIS-EWOS durch VOIS|MESO der Firma HSH zu ersetzen.

Ausschlaggebend für diese Empfehlung waren die Fachlichkeit und die gute Bedienbarkeit des Programms. VOIS ist eine neue Softwaregeneration zur Integration kommunaler Fachverfahren auf einer sowohl technologischen als auch organisatorischen Plattform.

Die Ablösung des KAI-eigenen Verfahrens KIS-EWOS und die Einführung von VOIS|MESO beginnen im Herbst dieses Jahres, nach der Bundestagswahl. Bis Ende Oktober 2018 sollen alle 40 Kommunen auf das neue Einwohnermeldeverfahren VOIS|MESO umgestellt werden.

Zur KAI-Gruppe gehören Städte und Gemeinden aus den Bundesländern Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Schleswig-Holstein und Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - mit insgesamt rund 650.000 Einwohnern. Darunter sind u.a. die Städte Rheine, Buxtehude, Telgte und Höxter.
