HUBTEX is now offering its customers remote access to live data on their forklift fleet – something that was previously only available for the remote maintenance of its forklifts – in the form of a comprehensive fleet-management package. The company’s new connectivity solutions provide a central overview of vehicle and fleet data and enable physical access to be controlled and instances of damage logged. These features are now available as an option on all HUBTEX models. Another new system that HUBTEX will be showcasing at LogiMAT 2025 (Hall 10, Stand 10C31) is its sensor-powered aisle entry assistant for rail-guided multidirectional forklifts, which helps drivers get into narrow aisles safely and avoids accidents.
For a fair few years now, remote access to multidirectional forklifts has been part and parcel of the standard service that many HUBTEX customers have come to expect. One main benefit is rapid troubleshooting thanks to the ability to view all error messages and vehicle parameters, which enables HUBTEX’s service teams to fix faults fast and effectively. This basic connectivity feature is now being enhanced by a comprehensive package of new solutions, chief amongst them the fleet management portal. This lets customers see all their relevant vehicle and fleet data online and draw valuable conclusions about the use, energy efficiency and productivity of their individual trucks and entire fleet. There is also the possibility of integrating optional functions such as monitoring battery levels, keeping a record of daily physical access controls and assigning drivers precisely using either individual PINs or transponders. Damage that goes beyond simple wear and tear can also be logged and documented. The portal is easy to access via an app or web browser. “The main benefit of our system is the fact that, with remote access, we’re enabling a high degree of integration into our vehicle electronics while also offering state-of-the-art fleet management on a single platform,” explains Michael Röbig, Head of Product Management at HUBTEX. The connectivity solution, which will be presented to an audience for the first time at LogiMAT, can be ordered as an add-on for all HUBTEX vehicles and retrofitted to many existing models.
A game-changer for long loads navigating narrow aisles
Attention at LogiMAT 2025 will also be focused on HUBTEX’s flagship PhoeniX vehicle series. Available in various load capacity classes up to 35 tonnes, it is often configured for use in narrow aisles lining long-goods warehouses, and it is precisely for this area of operations that HUBTEX has developed its new aisle entry assistant. This assistance system allows drivers to manoeuvre their multidirectional sideloaders into narrow aisles semi-automatically. Accidents often occur when drivers are entering an aisle that is only 200 mm wider than the forklift itself on the side opposite the cab while carrying an overhanging load. The new, patented system reduces the risk of racks, vehicles and loads being damaged and thus helps to reduce repair costs considerably. HUBTEX will be at Stand 10C31 in Hall 10 at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart from 11 to 13 March.
