AM Plenary Session - Smart Energies to Empower Economic and Energy Security of the United States
The morning session will be dedicated to possibilities of smart energies to empower economic and energy security to the United States. With particular focus on the Northeastern States, the needs of renewable energy experts across the entire value chain will be addressed. Government officials, industry champions, and research institutions are going to debate on the future paths of the U.S. electricity business and provide advice on what is needed to achieve a sustainable energy policy.
PM Track 1 - Smart Energy Market Assessment, Technological Advancements & Sustainable Best Practices
The afternoon session will be divided into two tracks. Track 1 will highlight renewable energy technologies. The purpose of this session is to enable the marketplace and consumers to find the right balance among energy sources that are costcompetitive, clean, and secure. Attendees will be provided with understanding of smart grid functionality, nextgeneration technologies, and tools in the areas of transmission, distribution, energy storage, and smart home.
PM Track 2 - The Solar Roofing Program: Turning Capital Expenses into Real Value Assets
Aimed at solar professionals, EPC companies, and project developers, Track 2 will outline strategies on how to provide an off balance sheet financing mechanism for a capital investment challenged asset. Experts from Spano Partners, Nations Roof, and Solar SiteDesign will provide delegates a holistic view of a solution - including all project steps as well as the distinct financial and building benefits.
