The members of the GridWorld advisory board recognized IBM for the company's contribution toward building grid awareness by providing technical and business leadership in bringing the technology of Grid and Service-Oriented IT solutions to the market.

IBM was also awarded top honors in the GRIDtoday Readers' and Editors' Choice Awards presented at the GridWorld conference in the following categories:
