Platform Computing announced today at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) that it will enable Tyan Computer Corporation to rapidly become Intel Cluster Ready through Platform Open Cluster Stack (OCS)*. Intel Cluster Ready is a new program and technology designed to simplify the development, purchase, deployment, usage and management of clustered computer systems.
Platform OCS is the first commercial software system used to create certified Intel Cluster Ready systems that enable the consistent delivery of scale-out application clusters. Tyan will be the first personal supercomputer vendor to become Intel Cluster-certified using Platform OCS, delivering the power and convenience of High Performance Computing (HPC) without the cost of a full-scale cluster solution.
