Erschwingliches Embedded System mit i.MX8M SoC

Mini-Embedded PC mit NXP® i.MX8M SoC und PI Pin Header

Mit der neuen ME1-8MD Serie bringt ICP Deutschland drei erschwingliche Embedded System Varianten auf den Markt. Die Einstiegsvariante ME1-8MD-1G8G ist ausgestattet mit einem NXP® i.MX8M Dual Cortex-A53 mit 1,3GHz Taktfrequenz, 1 Gb LPDDR4 onboard RAM und 8 Gb eMMC Speicher. Die Standardvariante ME1-8MD-2G16G hingegen verfügt über den gleichen i.MX8M SoC sowie zwei Gb LPDDR4 onboard RAM und 16Gb eMMC Speicher. Wohingegen die Performance Variante ME1-8MD-4G32G mit einem Quad Cortex-A53 mit 1,3GHz, vier Gb LPDDR4 onboard RAM und 32Gb eMMC Speicher ausgestattet ist. Von der intern verfügbaren 40 Pin Raspberry PI Stiftleiste sind bei allen drei Varianten über einen 10 Pin GPIO Anschluss, vier Digital IN, vier Digital Out, 5Volt und Ground herausgeführt. Außerdem verfügt jede Variante über einen zusätzlichen Micro SD Slot, einen Mini PCIe Full Size Steckplatz mit aufgelegtem PCIe und USB Signal, einem USB2.0, einem RS-232/422/485, einem HDMI einem GbE LAN Anschluss sowie zwei USB3.0 Anschlüsse. Die Performance Variante hingegen wird mit zwei GbE LAN Ports und Dual Display mit je einem HDMI und einen Display Port ausgeliefert. Alle Varianten werden mit 12 Volt DC Spannung betrieben und halten die scharfen Funkstörgrenzwerte der Klasse B ein. Das ME1-8MD kann mit seinem lüfterlosen Design und seiner Gehäusegröße von 140x100x39 mm in einem Temperaturbereich von 0 °C bis 55 °C eingesetzt werden. Als Board Support Packages stehen standardmäßig sowohl Yocto 4.14 als auch Android 9 zur Verfügung.
