Windows® XP weiterhin lieferbar

Als besonderen Service für ihre Systemkunden bietet die ICP Deutschland GmbH weiterhin das in industriellen Anwendungen weit verbreitete Betriebssystem Windows® XP Professional an. Obwohl XP im Einzelhandel nicht mehr erhältlich ist, wird es trotzdem über den Embedded Vertriebskanal bis Ende 2016 angeboten. Der Unterschied hierbei ist, dass es nur in Verbindung mit Hardware, also einem System angeboten werden darf. Daher auch der Name "FES - For Embedded Systems". Nicht zu verwechseln mit dem Embedded Betriebssystem Windows XP Embedded, das es natürlich auch noch so lange gibt. Egal, ob es sich um einen Panel PC, ein Rack PC oder einen Box PC von ICP handelt, alle Systeme werden in Deutschland nach Kundenwunsch assembliert und getestet. Natürlich kann der Kunde auch ein neueres Betriebssystem wie z.B. Windows® 7 wählen.
