Für Machine Vision, Surveillance und Zugangskontrollen spielt Power over Ethernet (PoE) eine immer wichtigere Rolle. Zum einen nimmt die Zahl der PoE fähigen Geräte stetig zu, zum anderen ermöglicht die Technologie eine vereinfachte Installation und geringere Installationskosten. Mit der neuen Power-over-Ethernet Erweiterungskarte GPOE-6P von ICP Deutschland vervollständigt sich die GPOE Erweiterungskartenserie. Neben der bestehenden 2-und 4 Port Lösung, kann nun auch auf die GPOE-6P mit 6 PoE Ports zurückgegriffen werden. Kompakt im Format von 170 x 107 mm, verfügt Sie über ein PCI Express x4 Interface und lässt sich so in einer Vielzahl von Systemen betreiben. Die physischen Ethernet Schnittstellen sind nach Standard IEEE 802.3at/bt zertifiziert und erkennen automatisch PoE oder nicht PoE fähige Geräte. Die GPOE-6P bietet eine maximale Ausgangsleistung von 90 Watt pro Port, wobei die Gesamtausgangsleistung der Karte maximal 180 Watt beträgt. Eine Betriebstemperatur von 0°C bis 60°C und die Eingangsspannung von 12V~24VDC bieten anwenderseitig ausreichend Flexibilität. Die mitgelieferten GPOE Management Software Tools lassen den Einsatz unter Windows und Linux zu. Somit stellt die GPOE-6P PCIe Erweiterungskarte die perfekte Grundlage für das erfolgreiche Aufsetzen von Surveillance Anwendungen auf kleinstem Raum dar.
