Die PCIe Mini Card MPCIE-3G mit 3G Modem Funktion kann Abhilfe schaffen. Die ICP Deutschland GmbH bietet dieses nur 50,95 x 30 x 4,75 mm kleine Modul mit entsprechenden Antennenkabeln an. Speziell Systemintegratoren können damit sehr einfach eine kabellose Erreichbarkeit ihres Gerätes realisieren ohne auf ein externes Modem zurückgreifen zu müssen. Das MPCIE-3G ist mit einem SIM-Kartenslot ausgestattet. Es unterstützt die Funktionen TTY und CTM sowie Real Time Clock und Telefonbuch. Kompatible Betriebssysteme sind Windows® XP/Vista/7/8 und Linux ab Kernel Version 2.4.31. Der große Betriebstemperarturbereich von -30°C ~ +85°C ermöglicht auch Outdoor-Anwendungen.
