Das 3.5" CPU Board WAFER-OT-Z650 ist mit einem besonders stromsparenden Prozessor ausgestattet.

Je geringer die Verlustleistung eines Computersystems ist, desto einfacher lässt es sich lüfterlos realisieren. Das 3.5" CPU Board WAFER-OT-Z650 der ICP Deutschland GmbH ist mit einem Intel® Atom™ Z650 Prozessor mit 1.2GHz ausgestattet, der nur 3 Watt Verlustleistung aufweist. Somit ist dieses Embedded CPU Board bestens für die Integration in ein lüfterloses System geeignet, wie z.B. ein Panel PC oder ein Box PC. Zu der Ausstattung des WAFER-OT-Z650 zählen 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, der bereits fest auf dem Board verlötet ist, sieben USB und vier COM sowie einen LAN Port. Für den Massenspeicher stehen ein SD-Slot und ein SATA Port zur Verfügung. Der integrierte Grafik Chip unterstützt HD Video Decoding, wobei die Ausgabe über einen HDMI oder einen LVDS Anschluss erfolgt. Die notwendige Betriebsspannung kann sowohl über einen externen als auch ein internen 12V Anschluss zugeführt werden.
