um extralange USB-Anschlusskabel für den professionellen Einsatz in
der Bildverarbeitung erweitert. Mit einer Länge von 8 m bieten diese die gleiche Übertragungssicherheit, aber deutlich mehr Flexibilität als die sonst üblichen max. 5 m langen Leitungen. Erhältlich sind die USB-Kabel mit dem geräteseitig gängigen Mini-B-Stecker in Ausführungen mit und ohne Rändelschrauben zur Fixierung.
Für so manche Machine-Vision-Applikation mit USB-Kameras erweisen sich die gängigen 5 m Standardkabel als zu kurz. Hier musste bisher mit aktiven Komponenten entsprechend „verlängert“ werden. Mit den neuen Kabeln lassen sich nun auch Distanzen bis 8 m einfach und kostengünstig überbrücken.
Durch eine besonders hohe Güte der Kabel wird laut IDS trotz der Überlänge
die nötige Übertragungssicherheit bis zur vollen Datenrate von 480 MB/s erreicht.
Problemlos erfolgt auch die Stromversorgung der Kameras über diese Leitung.
Mit den ab sofort lieferbaren 8 m-Kabeln erweitern sich die Einsatzmöglichkeiten
für die verschiedenen USB uEye Kameramodelle deutlich. Sowohl für die kompakten Board-Level-Modelle der LE-Serie als auch für die maschinentauglichen
SE- und ME-Baureihen werden überlange Anschlusskabel angeboten.
